What Items do you purchase?
We have the capability of purchasing one item or an entire estate. Each item we purchase is on a case by case basis. If your item is a piece of furniture, art, pottery, glass, lighting or accessory and fits into one or more of these categories, we would consider your piece:
Art Deco (1920’s – mid 1940’s)
Pre-WWII Modern (1930’s-1940’s)
Danish Modern (1950’s – mid 1970’s)
Mid-Century Modern (1950’s – 1970’s)
Asian Influenced (until 1970)
Contemporary Modern Furniture (1980’s- Present)
Where do you buy?
Most of our sellers live in Colorado. We have purchased items from as far as New York. Shipping one piece can become expensive. We would travel further for multiple pieces. If you live outside the state of Colorado, please feel free to share your item(s) with us.
If you will not consider our piece, where should we go?
If your item(s) is something that does not work for us, do not be discouraged. If you live in Colorado, we work closely with other honest vendors that might be able to assist you.
Do you offer Estate Liquidation services?
We do not offer Estate Liquidation unless we are purchasing the entire estate. More often than not, only certain pieces from the estate work for us. Do not be alarmed. In certain circumstances, it makes sense for us to purchase a specific item(s) and let an Estate Liquidation company handle the rest of the estate sale. We work closely with honest and reliable Estate Liquidation companies in the Denver Metro area. If we cannot help you, we can refer you to a company that can. We do not receive any royalties, kick-backs, or fees for our referrals. We would be happy to walk you through this scenario.

What items do you consign?
One and Home accepts consignments, in the Denver, Metro area, on a case by case basis. Unless your item is rare, the items we consign must be graded 4 stars or better. If your piece is graded below 4 stars, you might consider selling the item to us. Learn more on Condition Grading. Depending on the item and the time frame you want to sale your item, consignment agreements are created on a case by case basis,
Where will you sell my item?
Consigning to One and Home has advantages over brick and mortar galleries. An important advantage is the multitude of on-line marketplaces we market your piece. Your item will receive world wide exposure. Your item will be displayed for sale at OneandHome.com, ThriveVintage.com and premier on-line marketplaces.
How do I deliver my item(s) to you?
Option 1 – Seller Delivers, We Do The Rest – After delivery, we handle everything on your behalf.
Option 2 – Seller Provides Storage, We Do The Rest - If the item is a large piece, we have found it advantageous for the Seller to store the item and we handle the rest. We will handle cleaning, oiling, photography, listing, payment, and arranging shipment. With this option, the Seller typically receives a higher commission.
Option 3 – We Do Everything –We handle delivery, cleaning, oiling, photography, listing, payment, and arranging shipment.

What price should I expect for my item?
There are many costs that One and Home considers prior to making an offer. One major cost, not including payroll, rent, or utilities are the commission fees paid to on-line marketplaces. We expect to pay a marketing and transaction commission of 12.7% upwards of 27% on each item. After a thorough examination of your merchandise, our Owner, Brian Putnam, will determine the items demand and if additional costs will be incurred including, but not limited to restoration, refinishing, new upholstery and/or shipping. Depending on the demand and condition for your item, Brian will prepare and present a fair offer.
